It's easy to see that homes built using ICF forms offer a number of benefits around energy efficiency, but there are some added benefits that you may not have considered. Homes constructed using insulated concrete for walls enjoy very quiet interior spaces, as outside noises are seriously dampened by the walls. Cold spots and drafts are non-existent. Humidity is easily maintained at just the right comfortable level. And there is no susceptibility of the structure to mold or unhealthy off-gassing. Talk to one of our pros today about enjoying these features in your new home.

Are you looking for a builder who is experienced in working with insulated concrete forms? We have all the information you need right here. This resource is much more than a list of company names in your area - we have also gathered valuable information about each installer's experience with ICF: the number of years experience they bring to a project, their particular areas of expertise (whether it's residential or commercial, basements or whole buildings), their service area, other specializations, and even photos of their completed projects. Once you see a builder who meets your needs, you can contact them directly from this page. Browse through all of the submitted bios for installers who serve your area (including those who will travel to your project), or click the map pins to see the ones located nearest you.

A typical ICF form is made of two 16" x 48" x 2.75" polystyrene foam panels held together with a series of six polypropylene ties. The ties create a web which is the mechanism that allows for the placement of reinforcing steel, while the foam panels create the unit that provides the insulation and forms the concrete. These panels are designed to interlock, keeping the next course of forms in alignment. When assembled into a complete wall structure, the insulated concrete forms deliver six construction steps in one: furring strips, vapor barrier, air barrier, insulation, steel reinforcement and concrete, with an R-value of 25 or higher.
